 Kougi : Kougi is the main protagonist in the Game. his name means Justice, I thought this was suiting since that is what he wants after the death of his brother. Kougi progresses as the game goes on through power-ups that can be collected through-out the game. Kougi starts off with only one attack and will gain a new attack per level for the first 3 levels. His first attack is a punch that will take off 10 hp from any enemy. his second attack is a frozen flame attack that he can power up and produce from his hand. His final attack calls down his dragon, shimo to do a fierce attack on the enemy. Kougi's motovation is to rescue his brother, Honoo from the clutches of oujou. After his brothers death his motovation is revenge.

Honoo :  Honoo is the brother of kougi. He is captured during a raid in the tame borders. Oujou experiments on him and efectivly turns him into a zombie who does whatever his new master wants him to. In the Castle of Ashi he unwillingly attacks his brother who has come to save him. After the fight Honoo is mortally wounded and tells his brother to go and exact revenge upon Oujou for him. Honoo has a similar attack range to kougi including calling his fire dragon down to attack. 

Shimo : Shimo is Kougi's dragon. Shimo selected Kougai as his rider by hatching for him. When a dragon hatches for a human, the dragon sees the human as being worthy of riding him.

Atamagaokashii : Atamagaokashii is Leader of The Assassins of Ashi. He is under oujou's complete control. When he was 10 he brutally slaughtered his entire family and 3 city gaurds who tried to subdue him. he spent 16 years in an asylum before Oujou released him in the year of the split. This monster slaughters anyone who stands before him and is the msot brutal general in the Ashi Army. He kills his own men for anything from failing a mission to spilling soup at dinner!

Oujou : Oujou is the ruler of the rebelion state of Ashi. Oujou was once the son of a noble Knight of the kings palace, but after witnissing his fathers death at the hands of a magi trying to storm the castle, Oujou thought he could rule better than the king. So he gathered a rebel army and lead an uprising against the state of Tame. He won many victories but it came at a price.. his brother who helped lead the revolt was taken down by an archer when flying his dragon over head of a battlefield. Since then Oujou has gone mad with both grief and power and his once perfect vision of a land without war has flipped, making Ashi almost uninhabitable. Due to his new stance he has became vurnerable as he has no purpose or goal exept to wreak havock on Tame and exact revenge for his younger sibiling.
